I'm stressed. Why? My research funding is coming to an end, yet I still have no answers regarding these...I dont know what to call them. People?...creatures?...aliens?... whatever they are, I don't have a name. My mentors keep asking me for answers, yet I have none. Just binders of notes with no conclusions. But, there's one thing I do know. That no matter what environment I put them in, they always find a footprint. They study it. Pray to it. Worship it. What is hidden in the footprint that gives these creatures life?
